Our babies (10 weeks - 15 months) are cared for by friendly, enthusiastic, and responsive caregivers in a calm, soothing, happy environment. Their daily needs are addressed with smiles and frequent eye contact. Babies are talked to about what they are seeing and experiencing thus encouraging their language development. Songs are frequently sung and soothing music is played during naps. There is plenty of cuddle time and babies are given plenty of individualized attention. Baby's achievements are joyfully shared. Our room resembles a relaxing home atmosphere with cribs, age appropriate toys, bouncers, high chairs and a comfy rocking chair. There is adequate space for the staff to sit on the floor with your child during play. Your child's happiness and comfort is our first priority as we provide you with a safe and secure early learning experience. 

ELAP is thrilled to provide a class specifically designed for your 18 - 34 month old. The curriculum is presented through thematic units and all our toddler activities are designed for smaller hands and shorter attention spans. Our nurturing teachers provide developmentally appropriate social and academic skills that will benefit your child for a lifetime. 

During the preschool years, your children are introduced to academic skills. Language development and socialization skills are emphasized in a structured yet fun environment. Most of the learning is done through play. Your child is encouraged to progress at his/her own pace according to individual needs and abilities. Our goal is to explore your child's creativity and build their self-esteem. Activities in this class are based around the weekly themes and include literacy, mathematics, science, drama, the arts, cooking, and both small and large gross motor development. 

At this level of preschool, we put more of a focus on learning and preparation for future schooling. Though your child will still learn through play, more of an emphasis is placed on cognitive skills as we prepare your child to enter into kindergarten. Centers are stocked with developmentally appropriate materials so your child may explore and create. Art, music, dramatic play and social interaction help each preschooler explore creativity and build self-esteem. foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Our Pre-K program focuses on kindergarten preparedness, social finesse and a mastery of gross motor skills. Educational learning is emphasized in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. We try and maintain a balance between child-initiated and teacher-directed activities. Most teacher-directed activities are open-ended, allowing your child to work at his or her own pace and, for the more able student, to extend their thinking and achievement. Problem solving and creativity are readily encouraged, and your child is also invited to work independently as well as cooperatively with other classmates.
